I watched a video that imagined waking up as your eighty-year-old self but in your thirty-something body. Feeling the small hands of your children on you, soaking it all in, reading them an extra story instead of rushing through.
It hit me: this is why I do what I do.
I’m a wedding photographer because these are the moments we ache to hold onto, the ones that matter when everything else falls away. The day you say yes. The people you gather. The love and laughter you’ll want to remember when you’re old and grey.
Brand photos, websites, trends, they all change. But the photographs from your wedding day? They’ll live in frames on your walls, in albums your children flip through, in the stories you tell decades from now. They become part of your family history.
Being trusted with that feels like the most meaningful work I could do. My job isn’t just to take pretty pictures, it’s to help you remember how it felt to be here, in this season of your life, surrounded by the people you love most.
Not long ago, I had a moment that stopped me in my tracks....
THE LENS
Whether it’s a cosy book club night, a fantasy romance audiobook playing while I edit (Zodiac Academy has me in a chokehold right now), or a tearjerker film like The Notebook, I can’t get enough of big feelings and beautiful connections.
I take photos for fun all the time: friends, family, little moments, anything that moves me and makes me feel something. I’m a little bit mystical, I pull tarot cards, follow the moon, and I’m creating my own oracle deck, but I’m also deeply grounded, with a big reverence for nature and the seasons.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me reading, writing my Substack, working on my oracle card deck, snuggling up with a hot chocolate by the fire or heading out on creative adventures with friends.
Most of all, I’m happiest when I’m with my son, Theo. We spend as much time as we can outdoors, playing, making memories, and soaking up every season.
I’m endlessly drawn to love stories, the ones that make your heart catch and your breath slow.
HEART
You care about more than simply documenting your wedding, you want your day to feel as extraordinary in your photographs as it did while you were living it. My work blends cinematic romance with natural documentary moments and a touch of editorial polish. The result is a gallery full of elegant, emotive images that move like stills from a film, capturing everything from quiet glances to grand celebrations.
My background shapes this approach: in my first degree I studied Writing, Directing and Performance for TV, Film and Theatre which taught me the art of framing and visual storytelling, while my English and Cultural Studies degree refined my eye for symbolism and meaning. Add to that a Master’s in Psychology and a lifelong curiosity about people, and you get someone who notices the small gestures, the subtle dynamics, the moments others might miss and brings them to life with intention.
On the day, I’m more than a photographer. I’m also a creative co-ordinator quietly guiding the flow, checking the light, adjusting the smallest details so every image feels effortless. If there’s no coordinator, I naturally step into that role; if there is one, I collaborate with them and your creative team to keep the day seamless. You can relax and be fully present, knowing every moment, from the sweeping scenes to the tiny details, is being carefully preserved.
